A few students at Black Hawk Middle School decided to make a movie that involved everyone in the school. It was a huge undertaking that was met with great support by students, administration and the teaching staff. The final result of the student directed video has won honors at the District 196 film festival and is a nominee at the EDU state film festival. This video is a great example of school spirit and camaraderie at BHMS and a reminder to always "keep your head up."

8th Grade Valleyfair Trip!

• WHEN:  Thursday, May 30^th 3:00 – 8:30 PM (VF closes at 8PM)
• WHERE:  Valley Fair, Shakopee MN
• HOW/COST:  $25.00 (Checks payable to BHMS) (covers admission and bus)

District 196 Collaboration Station (or “Collab” for short) is a free suite of web-based programs and file storage services for staff and students that brings together essential services for school districts.  Examples include documents, spreadsheets, forms, email, presentations, and calendars.
