President's Award For Educational Excellence

Congratulations to the 129 eighth grade students who are this year’s recipients of the President’s Award for Educational Excellence.  These high achieving students maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in grades 6th, 7th and the first two trimesters of their 8^th grade year.  This is a remarkable scholastic accomplishment and the students were recognized at the Presidential Academic Awards Ceremony on May 22. 

Panther Pride Award Ceremony

Congratulations to the 132 Black Hawk students who were the recipients of the third trimester Panther Pride Award. This award acknowledges students whom have demonstrated high achievement and/or accomplishments in the areas of academics, citizenship, leadership or co-curricular activities.  The students were nominated by their teachers and recognized at the Panther Pride ceremony that was held on May 17.
